Scholarship
The Dorothy Storey
Scholarship was established in 2008 to honor Dorothy
Storey, one of our founding members. Most people in
Townsend are well aware of the endless time and
energy Dorothy has devoted to Hearts and Hands since its
inception. She truly demonstrates the "Heart" of
Hearts and Hands. This scholarhship has been
establilshed to show Dorothy that she is part of our hearts,
too.
For the third year, this
scholarship will be in the amount of $1,000 to be awarded in
addition to the regular Hearts and Hands scholarship.
Its purpose is to recognize a student who has contributed to
the community in some way and whose future goals
demonstrate a desire to continue that commitment.
To be considered for this scholarship, please review the
attached application instructions and submit the required
items along with the regular Hearts and Hands
Scholarship. Completed applictions must be received by
June 1, 2010. Applications received after that date, or
applications that are not complete by that date, will NOT be
considered. NOTE: If you encounter a problem when trying
